Our Policies and Procedures

Tuition Payment Policy

Each account will have a registraion fee of $50; for multiple student accounts this fee will be applied to the first student no registration fee will be applied to any additional students. This will not show up immediately, we will enter it manually. If you are a previous student/family that has taken classes with us before, this should not be applied to your new account. 

Tuition is based on monthly rates. The first month's payment is due the day of the first class session, each next month's payment will be due by the first class session held each month. A discount of 10% can be given for multiple student or multiple class enrolments.

Dress Code Policy

We ask that students please DO NOT wear flip flops or outfits with spaghetti straps. This is a SAFETY issue. While rehearsing and perfoming students may be required to do physical activities that can be dangerous in the improper attire.

Withdrawal Policy

We ask that students commit fully to the semester they enroll in. The craft of acting is a process that needs to be learned over time and is not something grasped overnight. Students also are often working in groups from the verey beginning, so withdrawal is not recomended as it would affect more than just the individual student. In case of emergency or illness that makes withdrawal necessary, a pro-rated refund for the month of withdrawal may be given based on the number of classes already attended. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Attendance / Tardiness Policy

Students are asked to be fully committed to the class. Acting is an investment. Continued absences may result in loss of roles in scenes/shows.

Photo / Video Release

Performances are video taped for our archives and production photos are taken in all classes and shows. Registration in classes and shows is taken as agreement for Performing Arts San Antonio to take and use production photography to be used only on Performing Arts San Antonio official web and social media sites.
